The Law Offices of Scott Maxwell remain open during the COVID-19 crisis. Lawyers are permitted to practice, subject to certain restrictions, during Governor Northam's Stay-at-Home order issued March 30, 2020.
Until further notice, walk-in appointments are not available and as much work as possible will be done remotely with clients. Attorney Maxwell offers live video or phone consultations in place of in-person meetings. Already, many new clients are finding this setup to be satisfactory, including Attorney Maxwell traveling to the clients' homes with finalized estate planning documents ready to be signed outside (weather permitting!).
Please do not hesitate to begin your estate planning process due to the current crisis. Attorney Maxwell's video consults and travel solutions have made estate planning easier than ever to complete.
